Our panel title is “The Aftermath of War: Dislocation and Dispossession.” The two papers are, “Territorial Effects of WW I on Indigenous Populations” and “Property Confiscation and Exile of Loyalists Populations After the American Revolution.” We are seeking any additions that focus on the subjects of empire; specifically addressing what happens after war in an empire where people lose their property or
are forced into exile because of the outcome. Any time periods, geographic locations, and empires will be considered.
