"Integrating the Workplace: A Retrospective on the 50th anniversary of 'Plans for Progress,' is a multidisciplinary conference focusing on workplace integration in the post-World War II era. The conference, free and open to the public, is sponsored by kennesaw State University and the Georgia Humanities Council. It will examine the origins and development of workplace integration from the 1960s to the present day, especially the period of 1960-1990. The conference will take place on October 14-15, 2011, on the campus of Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. Presenters include Gavin Wright, Stanford; Frank Dobbin, Harvard; Terry Anderson, Texas A&M; Dave Roediger, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
