Proposals for individual papers and panels are being accepted for the new Material Culture/Built Environment Area, for the Southwest/Texas Popular Culture and American Culture Association Conference
February 8 – 11, 2012
Presentations in this area may examine any type of human-produced object, construction, building, interior or landscape. Proposals are welcomed from professors, graduate students, independent scholars and other experts in the area of material culture. Graduate students should note the awards available for student papers, listed at the above website.
Individual proposal abstracts should be 250 words, with CV and contact information. Panel proposals should include one abstract and CV and contact information for each presenter. Submit proposals to the SW/TX PCA/ACA database at
