The Institute of Caribbean Studies, Univ. of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras (UPR-RP)invites the academic community and the general public to the panel discussion in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the academic journal CARIBBEAN STUDIES. Dr. A. P. Maingot (Prof. Emeritus, Sociology, Florida International Univ), Dr. L. Fiet (English Dept., UPR-RP), and Dr. H. García Muñiz (Inst. of Caribbean Studies, UPR-RP) will present as panelists. Dr. S. Silva Gotay, Distinguished Professor, Dept. of General Social Sciences, UPR-RP, will be the moderator.
