Atlanta Graduate Student Conference in U.S. History

The Workshop in U.S. History at Emory University, in conjunction with the Association for Georgia State University Historians, will host the first Atlanta Graduate Student Conference in U.S. History on February 17-18, 2012. The conference will be held on Emory’s campus in Atlanta, Georgia.
Graduate students and advanced undergraduates are invited to submit proposals for individual papers or full panels on any topic pertaining to U.S. History. We welcome submissions that focus on any region, time period, and topic. Proposals with a comparative, transnational, or interdisciplinary approach to U.S. history, as well as papers with a public history focus, are also encouraged.
For individual submissions, please send a 250-word proposal and a brief c.v. to ATLgradconference@gmail.com. Panel proposals should include a 200-word panel abstract in addition to a proposal and c.v. for each presenter.
