William B. Rogers concludes this series at Scotch Plains Public Library on Monday, Mar. 5, 7:00 pm, with “The Civil War in Movies.” We’ll look at key themes in the most popular Civil War films (Birth of a Nation, Gone with the Wind, Glory, Gettysburg) and the role they played in how generations of Americans have viewed the Civil War and its aftermath. We’ll reserve time for questions and answers on all aspects of the War.
