Leading members of the U.S. Supreme Court bar, intellectual property practice, academia, and the judiciary will review Supreme Court IP cases decided in the 2010-11 term, discuss cert petitions to watch and preview cases on the docket for the 2011-12 term at this one-day conference.
The Honorable Kathleen O’Malley, judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; the Honorable James F. Holderman, chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois; and the Honorable David Kappos, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), will participate in “Challenges of IP Cases and Administration in the 21st Century,” a colloquy on judging and administering intellectual property cases.
