Proposals for papers and panels are now being considered for the South Asian Cinema Area of the annual SW/TX PCA/ACA conference. This year’s conference theme is Celebrating "Foods & Culture(s) in a Global Context."
South Asian Cinema is a new area at this conference and any topics related to this area are welcomed. Listed below are suggestions for possible panels and presentations, but topics not included here will also be warmly considered.

Scholars, teachers, filmmakers, graduate students, and others interested in all aspects of South Asian Cinema are encouraged to participate in getting this exciting new conference area established in its debut year.
