I am seeking co-panelists for the 2012 meeting of the Society for Civil War Historians. The panel will cover topics related to the broad theme of Civil War prisoners. My own paper analyzes northern-born Confederate soldiers who spent time in northern prisons and how they reacted to being incarcerated in their native regions as enemies. Anyone who is working on projects related to this theme, including an analysis of different prisons, prison life, Union and/or Confederate prison policy, etc., are welcome to submit ideas for papers for this panel.
