This event on Sunday, September 25, 2011 will be the kick-off event for the Monmouth County Library's celebration of NJ: The State of Invention. The kick-off will be focused on Thomas Edison. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Paul Israel of the Edison Papers Project, we will also have a presenation by Patrick Garner as Thomas Edison and we will have a performance of music from Edison's time with Rick Benjamin and the Paragon Ragtime Quartet. All events are free and open to the public.
