Each spring, the National Council for History Education holds a national conference. The national conference is a place where everyone who loves to teach and learn history can come together and share. NCHE encourages conference proposals that illustrate collaboration and history education. The theme of the 2012 Conference is Reading the Past: Literature and Literacy in History. The conference will be held March 22-24 at the Westin Crown Center in Kansas City, MO.
