TRenD 2012 ¡V Transcatheter Renal Denervation
(a CSI Focus Workshop)
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to take this chance to invite you to the TRenD 2012 -Transcatheter Renal Denervation.
This is a focused workshop based on the leading congress in the field of Congenital & Structural Interventions (CSI).
Renal denervation is a new catheter technique to treat severe arterial hypertension. The afferent and efferent renal nerves are interrupted by applying radiofrequency energy to the renal artery wall via an endovascular approach. This technique is a major breakthrough in antihypertensive therapy. The results of the randomized trial were reported recently at the American Heart Association Congress in Chicago.
This single day workshop will teach you all you need to know about this new and exciting therapy on Transcatheter Renal Denervation and will include topics like:
„« Background
„« Clinical Results
„« How to perform it
„« Future Perspectives
The CSI TRenD 2012 workshop will take place in Frankfurt, Germany on February 18, 2012.
