PANEL 608. History and Photography
We are especially interested in proposals which focus on:
•Analysis of circulation of photography in different formats such as illustrated magazines, postcards, scientific papers
•Relations between culture and power and the role of photography in this interact
•Photography and discourse of modernization, identification, regionalization or globalization
•Political uses of photography
•Research about ways of observation
Proposals should be submitted online at http://ica2012.univie.ac.at/call-for-papers/ between 15 April and 31 August, 2011
