Konya is a city that served as the capital city of Selcuk State of Turkiye and assumed important missions during the process of Turkification and Islamicisation of Anatolia. Our City brought together spritual leaders, scholars and mystics of 13th century in Anatolia such as Ibn Arabi, Sadr al-Din al-Qunawi, Mawlana Jalaladdin Rumi, Yunus Emre Haji Baktash Wali. This symposium will witness new contributions to history of Islamic Thought MEBKAM (Meram Municipality's Center for Qunawi Studies)are deeply proud of being insrumental in making these conributions.

Founded as a cultural center within the body of Meram Municipality, the MEBKAM (Meram Municipality’s Center for Qunawî Studies) has been organizing cultural activities since 2006.
