I am putting together a panel which examines historical efforts at conceiving (or enacting) a European society for the Towards a European Society conference at the Centre for European and International Studies Research at the University of Portsmouth from June 28-30, 2012. My research focuses on the SS's attempt at creating a Greater Germanic Empire during the war. I am interested in presenting with other scholars who have a historical perspective on the road to a European-wide society.
