Conference on "The Christian Moses" at Catholic University, Washington, DC, May 31-June 3, 2012
|
|
The Center for the Study of Early Christianity at CUA will host a conference on "The Christian Moses" from May 31-June 3, 2012. Speakers will investigate how Christians (to 7th c.) used traditions associated with Moses, along with significant Jewish traditions and early Islamic references to Moses. Scholars interested in presenting a paper (time of delivery: 25 min.) should submit titles and abstracts. The abstract should be limited to 300 words, closely reflect the theme of the conference, and demonstrate familiarity with relevant sources. Participants willing to do so are also welcome to suggest panels or other types of group presentation. All papers delivered at the conference will be considered for inclusion in a volume published by Catholic University of America Press.
