In an effort to reach Historians, Archivists & Editors be advised of the following background information.
I am in possession of a set of original Volga German journals dating from the revolutionary period. These have been partially translated, more then 600 pages still to be translated & transcribed from the artistic German scripted form.
Trafford published a book, The Quiet in the Land, by Henry Wieler, from a portion of the journals. Do refer to Trafford's listing for details. I can send you a copy at my cost upon request.
Due to health reasons I am not able to proceed with this unique historic work & am seeking alternatives.
Since you have experience in this field, I would like to share additional details through a phone call at 717-293-8141.
I will need compensation for the investment I have made to date on this project. Details & terms are negotiable.
