CALL FOR PROPOSALS: CWWH Designated Session for the 2012 WHA
This is the LAST CALL for panel proposals to the Coalition for Western Women's History (CWWH), for its designated session at the 2012 Western History Association Conference, to be held in October 12-16, 2012 in Denver, Colorado. Full-panel proposals on any topic related to the study of women/gender in the West will be considered, and may include, but are not limited to transnational approaches to women and gender, intersections of race, class, and gender, gendered legal and political issues, gender and sexuality studies, teaching women and gender, and topics that are organized by sub-region, ethnicity, or era.
CWWH sponsorship means your session will be identified on the WHA program as an event sponsored by the Coalition for Western Women’s History. This increases our visibility and helps build connections between scholars of western gender history.
Please submit proposals to the Dee Garceau, firstname.lastname@example.org by July 15, 2011.
