The submission deadline for the Ninth Native American Symposium to be held November 2-4, 2011 at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma has been extended. Papers, presentations, panel sessions, creative projects, on all aspects of Native American life and studies are welcome, including but not limited to history, literature, law, medicine, education, religion, politics, social science, and the fine arts. The keynote banquet speaker will be the distinguished Cheyenne educator and scholar Dr. Henrietta Mann. All papers presented at the symposium will be eligible for inclusion in the volume of published proceedings, which will also be posted on our website at www.se.edu/nas/.
Send abstracts of no more than 250 words by August 10, 2011 to mspencer@se.edu.
