CFP: at the International Congress for Medieval Studies, Kalamazoo 2012, there will be a session dedicated to HAFIZ and 14th Century SUFISM. Proposals are encouraged for papers addressing any aspect of the life, thought, works, influence and context of the great Persian poet and mystic HAFIZ as well as any other topics or themes relevant to SUFISM in the 14th (A.D.) century. Proposals from all disciplines will be considered, including: History; Literature and Comparative Literature; Religious Studies; Persian Studies; Turkish/ Ottoman Studies; Middle Eastern Studies; Comparative Spirituality; Women's/ Gender Studies, and Hagiography. Abstracts of not more than 500 words should be emailed as a Word doc attachment by September 2, 2011 to June-Ann Greeley at email@example.com.
