The Pacific Arts Association (PAA) welcomes session proposals for presentation at the College Art Association (CAA) Annual Conference in New York from 13-16 February 2013. PAA is interested in sponsoring a lively session that reflects an aspect of current thought, practice and research in Pacific art, architecture, theory and criticism, pedagogy, museum and curatorial practice, conservation, or developments in technology. Sessions will be chosen on the basis of its interest to PAA and its constituency as well as its relevance to the wider CAA constituency.
Session chairs must be members of both PAA and CAA.
Please electronically submit an abstract of your session proposal and a CV for you and your co-chair (if applicable) to both Stacy Kamehiro at and Bernida Webb-Binder at .
In the event that PAA selects your proposal, prospective session chairs are encouraged to familiarize themselves with PAA via www.pacificarts.org and to also look at CAA’s proposal submission process via http://www.collegeart.org/proposals/2013.
