Conference Announcement
We are pleased to announce an international conference in South Korea.
2011 marks one thousand years since the formation of the Chojo Daejanggyeong (the First edition of the Tripitaka Koreana). To commemorate this occasion, the Research Institute of the Tripitaka Koreana and the Geumgang Center for Buddhist Studies of Geumgang University have co-organized “Daejanggyeong: A Millennium Commemoration of the Tripitaka Koreana in 2011” from June 27th to 29th in Daegu, South Korea. Fifteen international scholars from nine countries and twelve Korean scholars will present their papers under nine sub-categories. A detailed program follows:
