NeoAmericanist, an online multi/inter-disciplinary journal for the study of America, is requesting applications for a NEWS FEED EDITOR. The neoAmericanist web feed is an easily updated RSS feed aimed at capturing and broadcasting professional and popular news to interested Undergraduate and Graduate students. The journal is looking for a self-motivated individual who can update the feed so that it remains current and comprehensive. News that is re-published by the neoAmericanist feed includes conferences, publications and publishing opportunities, lectures, funding opportunities, job options, call for papers, and any other material relevant to American Studies and cognate fields.

This position provides an ideal way to stay abreast of professional opportunities, as well as trends in research and scholarly debates. Assets include experience with online promotion and intermediate level web-site management, as well as a demonstrated interest in the development of the field. The position is unpaid and takes approximately 3-5 hours per week.
