The ICMPCS Conference was established to encourage an international cross-disciplinary exchange between academicians from multiple disciplines (Criminology, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Music, English, Media and Popular Culture Studies, etc) and practitioners who are engaged in research, teaching and practices associated with crime, deviance, justice and policy and their relationship with the media and popular culture. The conference serves as a forum for the dissemination of knowledge associated with these areas of study among students, academicians and practitioners.
The ICMPCS Conference regularly attracts a large number of scholars from around the world. The first two nights of the conference free live entertainment is provided. See also our facebook page under Annual International Crime, Media & Popular Culture Studies Conference. The ICMPCS Conference will be held September 26th-27th, 2011 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Abstract submissions are due July 8, 2011. Registration payments for presenters are due August 5th and for non-presenters September 9th.
