We are pleased to announce the second annual symposium of Yiddish research students. The symposium provides a platform for researchers of Yiddish at the beginning of their careers to meet, exchange ideas and present their findings. Papers this year will be presented by students from Israeli, American and Polish universities and include topics as diverse as Old Yiddish literature, Yiddish theatre, Yiddish newspapers in Displaced Persons Camps and Yiddish songs.
The conference will take place on Sunday, June 5, 2011, in Room 3001 of the Rabin Building at the Mount Scopus Campus of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, beginning at 9.30 am.
