In light of recent events in Japan, it is (once again) imperative to question the link between the humanities and issues surrounding nuclear proliferation. Specifically, what is the role of literature, film, and critical theory in this discourse? And what approaches,if any, remain relevant from 'Nuclear Criticism' at the close of the 20th century?
