The Annual Conference of the ISMS will take place in Tartu Estonia, at the Dorpat Conference Centre. The host of the 2011 ISMS Conference is the Baltic Defence College. The ISMS is calling for academic papers in all aspects of military and security studies and the theme of the conference is “Adapting to Modern Security Challenges.” The conference is built around eight working groups and each working group will choose papers to be presented. The eight working groups are:
Defence Management
Armed Forces and Society
Law and Ethics
War Studies
Leadership, Command and Control
Security Defence Policy
Military History
Military Technology
If you would like to present a paper then send an abstract of 500-1,000 words to the conference secretary (Mr. Didzis Nimants) at didzis.nimants@bdcol.ee
