The Resurgence of Indigenous Women's Knowledge and Resistance in Relation to Land and Territoriality: Transnational and Interdisciplinary Perspectives.
DEADLINE June 30, 2011
Issue # 6 of Intensions examines the transformative effects of dissent, resistance, and scoial change after five centures of indigenous political engagement and corporeal interaction with empire.
We welcome interdisciplinary submissions (fiction, poetry, storytelling, theatre, historical and cultural analysis, interviews, and visual art of all genres) that explore how indigenous women engage with territory, relate to land and its gifts as well as interrogations of colonial structures, policies, and controls in non-urban or urban environs.
