The Ninth Native American Symposium and Film Festival to be held November 2-4, 2011 at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma will celebrate the uncharted but hopeful future of Native America today. Papers, presentations, panel sessions, creative projects, and films on all aspects of Native American life and studies are welcome, including but not limited to history, literature, law, medicine, education, religion, politics, social science, and the fine arts. The keynote banquet speaker will be the distinguished Cheyenne educator and scholar Dr. Henrietta Mann. All papers presented at the symposium will be eligible for inclusion in the volume of published proceedings, which will also be posted on our website at www.se.edu/nas/.
