CFP: “Immigration and New England: Contemporary Issues”

The William Monroe Trotter Institute for the Study of Black Culture at the University of Massachusetts Boston announces a call for papers from graduate and doctoral students in New England researching contemporary immigration issues in New England.
The Trotter Institute is planning a panel event for fall 2011, featuring graduate students presenting research and sharing ideas on contemporary immigration issues in New England. The Trotter is eager to engage with immigration research through a variety of disciplines, including History, American Studies, Public Policy, Political Science, Law, etc.
