Dear colleagues,
The Observatory for International Stability and Conflicts (OISC) just launched his blog! It starts with an interview with Humour de Droite, French web-based political activists. You can access it here:

We are currently recruiting contributors for this media. Feel free to contact us at mademoiselle.sarahk@gmail.com or albin.wagener@gmail.com.
Our next projects include the organization of a conference by the end of 2012 and the launch of a peer-reviewed journal in 2013. In order to guarantee the quality of these next steps, we will also constitute a steering committee; again, feel free to contact us if you want to get involved and seriously join the project.
The OISC is an organization based on a network of contributors. Its main role is that of a watchdog analyzing the conflicts societies – or their representative institutions – are experiencing on a local, regional, national, international, or organizational basis. The OISC aims at publishing reports consisting of a critical analysis of international affairs, of social crisis, and any situation with the potential of threatening the political, social and/or economic stability of any given state or social entity. The observatory aims at being a hybrid entity with interdisciplinary orientations and practices. It is built around a cross-oriented approach to various fields: political science, history, social geography, discourse analysis, economics, semiology, anthropology, sociology and any other science with the potential to shed a light on the stakes of peace-building methods from yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Thank you for your questions and comments,
Kind regards,
--
