The Centre for Latin American Studies, Goa University, Goa, India has identified Brazil as one of its core areas of vent and hence, reckoned it requisite to convene an International Conference on Indo-Brazilian Relations and Interactions, entitled ‘India-Brazil Dialogue’ over three days, viz. 19th, 20th & 21st of October 2011, at the portals of Goa University. The ostensible objective behind this exercise, is not just to proffer a historical narrative on evolving India-Brazil relations, but to facilitate scholars from a multitude of disciplines at both ends, to commend views and perspectives on the wide gamut and canvass of mutual interface, encompassing Politics, Foreign Policy and International Relations, Economic and Business, Science & Technology, Sociological Studies, Governance Themes, even Literature, etc. Paper Abstracts can be submitted on the following themes for no more than 150 words:
a. Brazil and Latin America: Process of Democratization
b. Regional Security: Brazil and Latin America
c. Brazil and Latin America: Economic Strategies and International Economy
d. Human Rights: Brazil and Latin America
e. Brazil and Latin America: A Historical Perspective
f. Brazil and Latin American Culture: Literature, Art and Religion
g. Brazil and Science and Technology
h. Brazil and Multilateralism: US, China, European Union and India
