H-Net Announcement Society for Emblem Studies @ RSA

The Society for Emblem Studies solicits papers and or entire panels for sessions at the

renaissance Society of America RSA in Washington, D.C. from 22-24 March 2012.

Topics can include, but are not limited to, emblems in books, applied emblematics, digital emblematics, and emblems and the other arts. Particularly welcome are papers treating gender and emblems, emblems and adages, “translations” of emblems, and emblems in unlikely places!

Please submit a 200-word abstract to Mara Wade by 15 May 2011.
