Experience the Simla conference in the summer of 1945, when Nehru, Jinnah, Azad and most of the leaders of India met with the British governors general to determine the fate of the Indian subcontinent. This workshop features the "Reacting to the Past" methodology, in which students play elaborate games, set in the past, their roles informed by classic texts. Ainslie Embree, co-author of the India RTTP game, will be present as a participant in this Reacting workshop in New York City.
