1ST CALL FOR PAPERS
The Ayi Kwei Armah International Conference is to be held at the University of Ghana, Legon from 24 – 26 November, 2011.
The theme for the Conference is “Ayi Kwei Armah and the African Rennaissance: A Multidisciplinary Approach.” The event will be held under the sub-theme “Re-living Ayi Kwei Armah’s Rennaissance.”
High level participation is expected from all scholars, researchers, and postgraduate students interested in the "remembering" of the African continent and committed to changing “the social realities of Africa for the better” to celebrate Armah’s writing from a multidisciplinary perspective. The participation fee for the conference is US$300.
To present a paper at this conference, please submit a one-page abstract of no more than 300 words in font size 12, Times New Roman, to ayikwei@ug.edu.gh by 6 May, 2011. Kindly attach to your submission a short biography of your institutional affiliation and disciplinary background.
