The Midwest regional symposium of the Association for Study of Women and Mythology (ASWM) will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 in Madison, Wisconsin, with keynote speaker Mary B. Kelly, textile expert and artist. The day-long symposium will also include panels on the importance of fabric arts in religion, divine images from myth to mirror, performance Arts and spirituality, and research methods in goddess studies.
