Call for Papers: Deadline 15 June 2011
We are currently organising a postgraduate study day to take place at the University of Reading on Saturday 29 October 2011.
We would like to hear from postgraduate researchers seeking an opportunity to give short (about 20 minutes) work-in-progress paper on their Ph.D. research.
We would particularly welcome papers addressing one (or more) of the conference's key themes:
• Comparative and transnational approaches to any aspect of European history within the period
• European Integration History
• World War II legacies for the history of post-war Europe (decolonisation, Cold War...)
• The role of international laws and international criminal justice in post war Europe.
Interested, researchers should submit a 500-word abstract electronically to
postwareuropeuor@gmail.com
Admission to the conference is free, but no funds will be available for travel or accommodation. Catering arrangements will be announced nearer the time.
