ONE DAY WORKSHOP: "Mass Violence and Genocide: Past, Present and Future"
University of Sheffield, UK
Thursday, 30 June, 2011
We welcome suggestions for papers, maximum 20 minutes duration, relating to any aspect of the study of genocide or mass violence.
As this is a conference aimed predominantly at scholars in the early stages of their careers, there will be no registration fee required and while it is anticipated that PhD students' home universities will cover their travel costs, we have a limited number of travel bursaries for those without any funding (details of which shall be released once we have gauged the overall level of interest in this venture).
To apply, please submit an abstract of c.300 words, along with a brief biography of institutional affiliation and disciplinary background, to the address listed at the bottom of this message. Please note that the deadline for these applications is Wednesday, 18 May, 2011.
