901 Gettysburg Stories explores the battlefield through rarely seen artifacts, documents, and images. Each entry is researched and written by a Gettysburg College student while serving as a Civil War Institute Fellow. Their work interrogates important original sources, much of it housed in the Special Collections at the Musselman Library. The historical inquiries that follow - each embedded as a site specific post on a modern map - reveal the contested and contradictory meanings of America's most famous Civil War battle.
