The Ashmolean Museum announces the Call for Papers for the conference 'Early Modern Merchants as Collectors' to be held at the museum 15-16 June 2012. The CFP is available at the conference website: http://earlymodernmerchants.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/
Scholars working on merchants in any area of the globe during the early modern period are encouraged to submit proposals. The deadline for submissions is 31 May 2011.
