The Institute of Caribbean Studies, University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras, anounces the public lecture “Ejercicio de Tsunamis: CARIBE WAVE/LANTEX 2011,” by Prof.
Christa von Hillebrandt-Andrade, Director, NOAA NWS Caribbean Tsunami Warning Program. Dr. Maritza Barreto, Physical Geographer and Marine Geographer, Faculty of Social Sciences, UPR-RP, will comment the lecture.The activity will be held on Thursday, March 31, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Amp. CRA 108 of the Faculty of Social Sciences, UPR-RP.
