History Lovers Make Better Leaders
The Next Generation Needs Your Help
Please consider volunteering to be a History Day Judge!
Part of the renowned National History Day program, History Day in Connecticut makes a difference in students’ lives.
Students who participate exhibit more confidence, outperform their peers in the classroom, show a greater ability to
collaborate, and grow up to be more civically engaged citizens.
Over 1,000 Connecticut students participate.
Judges talk to students, review & rank projects, and determine who moves on to the state and national competitions. Projects are in the form of a paper, exhibit, website, documentary, or theatrical performance.
There are five district competitions on March 26 in Manchester, New Haven, Stamford, Torrington, and Mansfield.
The statewide competition is on April 30 in Hartford.
Help us inspire a new generation of leaders and build a brighter future for all!
