You are invited to submit paper proposals for a Special Session, "Levels of Reality in Fiction," at the MLA 2012 convention in Seattle:

Levels of Reality in Fiction
Papers that consider texts featuring multiple levels of reality, and how these intersect within the text: metafiction, mise en abyme, mirrors. Interdisciplinary approaches welcome. 200-word abstracts by 20 March 2011; Rhona Trauvitch (rtrauvitch@complit.umass.edu).
