Call for Papers
In a globalized postcolonial world that is constantly shifting and growing, is it possible or even desirable to maintain the dichotomies of the local and the global in terms of tradition, history, memory, identity, ethnicity, space and such like? Are there alternative or parallel accounts of discourse in the postcolonial context? Does contemporary Literature written around the world require the reader/critic to take these discourses into account for a greater comprehension and appreciation of the same?
Original and unpublished articles/papers of 3000-5000 words in accordance with the MLA style are sought for a volume on “The Local and Global in Postcolonial Fiction”. Contributors may choose to write on any aspect(s) of postcolonial fiction that focuses on the aforementioned themes. These themes are indicative and not exhaustive in nature.
