I am interested in forming a panel on the portrayal of American religion in pop culture, namely television and movies. My paper examines the depiction of religion and race in FOX’s Glee. I am looking for papers that investigate religion in other popular television shows or movies, or something that more broadly examines what religion in TV/film indicates about religion in contemporary American culture.
