The 46th Joint Atlantic Seminar for the History of Biology will be held at Yale University, Saturday, 9 April, with a welcome dinner and keynote speaker Friday, 8 April.
In a variation on the traditional schedule, this year, we will host the traditional dinner on Friday evening, 8 April, with a keynote speaker. The seminar of contributed presentations will take place Saturday, 9 April, with a farewell happy hour after the presentations. The Friday dinner and keynote speaker will take place at the Whitney Humanities Center (53 Wall Street, New Haven, CT) on the Yale campus. The Seminar Sessions will be held in the Historical Medical Library in the Sterling Hall of Medicine (333 Cedar Street, New Haven, CT) on the School of Medicine campus.
Abstracts (200 words) of papers submitted for presentation are due 1 March (note extended deadline) and can be emailed to Jtashb@gmail.com Decisions on accepted abstracts will be made as soon after the deadline as possible. Some travel support is available for graduate student presenters.
