The Graduate School at the Institute of Advanced Study in the Humanities and the Social Sciences (GS@IASH), University of Bern, Switzerland, offer doctoral places as of autumn 2011. Application deadline: 11 April 2011.
Applicants must have a degree that qualifies for doctoral studies at the Philosophical-Historical Faculty of the University of Bern, a professor who agrees to supervise them, and a good command of German and English.
No fellowships can be provided (yet) but successful applicants will be provided with a fully equipped work space at the IASH as well as receive administrative and technical support.
