The sixth annual Battleground States conference will take place February 25-26 at Bowling Green State University. The theme of this cultural studies conference is Collapsing Cultures and Darkened Dreamscapes: Societies and Imaginations in a State of Disorder.
The Keynote Address, "Earth VS. Normal: How the Mad Movement Challenge to the Global Psychiatric Industry May Help Us All,” will be given by David W. Oaks, Director of MindFreedom International, on Saturday 26th February, 6.00-8.00pm, 308 Bowen-Thompson Student Union. All are welcome.
This cultural studies conference will feature the work of graduate students, young faculty, artists, activists, performers, and filmmakers.
