The Northeast Popular/American Culture Association (NEPCA) is seeking paper proposals on the topic of Music & Culture for its fall conference to be held on the campus of Western Connecticut State University the weekend of November 11-12, 2011. More details will be forthcoming, but those interested in submitting early proposals should email a copy (maximum 250 words) along with a one-page vita to both the Program Chair, Don Gagnon, at email@example.com and the Area Chair for Music & Culture, Christopher Gleason, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Since 1974 NEPCA has invited scholars from New England and New York to be part of an expanding intellectual community. Our annual conferences strive to obtain a balance of graduate students, independent scholars, and full-time faculty members. They are designed to be nurturing conferences where works in progress share intellectual space with established scholarship. NEPCA conferences are also affordable for all.
