The intention of this workshop organized by State Building in Latin America (ERC), UPF (Barcelona) and EHESS (Paris) is to focus on the most notable aspects of the history of bureaucracy and public servants from different temporal angles and cultural areas (from Chine in the XII to Latin America in the XIX).
